Daniel Mouthon

Daniel MouthonDaniel Mouthon lives in Zürich and is a composer, vocalist and music theatre producer. He is also active in the field of counselor for cultural solutions. He studied classical music and was a teacher (among other things as a music pedagogue at the university of Zürich and in practical aesthetics at the Zurich Art Institute (ZHdK).

Nicola Romanò

1974 in Luzern geboren. Früher Kontakt mit Kammermusik, welche fortan eine musikalisch zentrale Rolle einnehmen wird.
Studien bei Peter Leisegang und Thomas Grossenbacher. Gewinner verschiedener Preise. Pädagogische Tätigkeit. Vielseitiges Konzertieren in Formationen verschiedener Grössen und Stile, der E- und U-Musik.
Nicola Romanò ist seit 2004 Mitglied des ensemble für neue musik zürich, Cellist von “Klangcombi” (Appenzeller Avantgarde mit Noldi Alder; Tradition, Neukompositionen/ Arrangements, Improvisation) und seit 2008 Cellist des Basler Streichquartetts, sowie Mitglied des Pierre Favre Grand Ensemble.

Urs Bumbacher

Born 1954, Urs Bumbacher studied at the Zurich Music Academy under Heiner Reitz where he earned his teaching diploma in 1978. He then continued his studies at the Academy of Music Basel under Hansheinz Schneeberger earning his concert diploma in 1983. He attended Master classes in contemporary violin music with Jànos Négyesy. For many years he was concertmaster of the Swiss Gastspieloper was a member of the Ensemble IGNM Basel and concertmaster with the basel sinfonietta. He was a founding member of the ‘ensemble für neue musik zürich’ which performed a series of concerts in Zürich as well as tournees in Germany, Italy, France, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, China, Japan and Australia. An important part in the work of the ‘ensemble für neue musik zürich’ was played by music theater projects, and contemporary performances of chamber operas together with numerous radio shows and cd recordings. Urs Bumbacher was a member of the Collegium Novum Zürich until 2006. He has held a teaching position at the Steinhausen School for Music since since 1976 and has taught classical music and jazz at the Conservatory in Zurich since 1983.
